A Night at the Renaissance auditions

There are a lot of talented people in PebbleCreek and you have probably seen most of them at one time or another in one of the many Performing Arts Club shows presented each year. This November you will have an opportunity to see the best of the best when ShowTime, PC Players, PC Musicians and PC Singers team up to present A Night at the Renaissance.
This unprecedented collaboration will be a spectacular evening of singing, dancing, comedy and music and the net proceeds will go towards PAC’s Build the Backstage Campaign – a project that will finally construct a useable backstage for the Renaissance Theatre.
The details of the gala event are still being worked out but a sneak peek of the script has ShowTime singers performing favorite numbers from past productions while PC Players actors present some fast paced, energetic Laugh In-style comedy that will have audiences rolling in the aisles. Also, Dance Fusion is preparing a couple of routines including an all-time audience favorite.
Auditions for A Night at the Renaissance will be held on four separate evenings. Vocal auditions will be on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Renaissance Theatre. Appointments for these auditions can be scheduled by contacting Patti Wegehaupt at [email protected] starting July 1. She can also make special arrangements for anyone who is traveling this summer and unable to make the scheduled dates.
Non-vocal auditions will be held on Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Renaissance Theatre. These tryouts will include cold readings from the script and no appointment is necessary. The show itself will run six nights from Monday, November 16 to Saturday, November 21.
