“Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” was the theme of this year’s PCL9GA Invitational Golf Tournament held on February 13. Two hundred fifteen ladies from PebbleCreek and eight other clubs from around the Valley played on all three Tuscany Falls golf courses. This event, planned by co-chairpersons Patti Engelhardt, Jackie Abel and Norma Guillaume included lunch, nine holes of golf, dessert and prizes. Many local businesses generously donated money or services to help make the event successful. A committee headed by Carole Schumacher, Julie Mock, and Joyce Rustman helped make these donations possible. A committee of volunteer men, headed by Kathy Mitchell, organized and parked carts. The guests came from Cottonwood, Encanto, Oakwood, PebbleBrooke, Peoria Pines, Sun City Grand, Corte Bella, and Ironwood.
