At the Pebblecreek Democratic Club meeting in October, Dr. Carter Davidson, Superintendent of the Litchfield Elementary School District and Tom Huffman, Deputy Assistant Superintendent of Operations for the Agua Fria High School District, presented their requests for a special election on Nov. 7, 2023. Also present were Sam Nuanez, the Executive Director of Communication and Partnerships for Litchfield ESD and Quay Bolton-Lattari, Executive Director of Finance for Agua Fria HSD.
Both districts are requesting bond funds to cover safety and security renovations, repairs to existing schools and to build new schools, as this region is the fastest growing in the U.S.
All the representatives gave an informative and interesting presentation that was welcomed and appreciated by all present. This election is mail-in only and ballots must be received by Maricopa County Elections by 7 p.m. Nov. 7, 2023.
The PebbleCreek Democratic Club’s November meeting will be in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting at 7 p.m. Our meetings are open and all are welcome.
