PebbleCreek Democratic Club Has Fun Events Planned for Fall

Pebblecreek Democrats love to have fun! Our wonderful social committee has planned an enticing lineup of events for the fall, and the best news is, anyone in PebbleCreek (PC) is welcome to join us.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, brush up on your Charleston and break out your flapper dresses and sharp suits for the Roaring Twenties Dinner Dance. Social time begins at 5:45 p.m. with dinner at 6:45 p.m. There is a choice of entrees and a splendid array of sides. Many fun surprises are planned for your entertainment and fun, so let your hair down and party like it’s the Roaring Twenties! Tickets are $60 per person. To sign up or for more information, contact Franki Veltri at 623-363-9629.

On Nov. 10 there will be a picnic at Sunrise Park from 1 to 5 p.m. More details to follow. In December, a trip to the Phoenix Symphony is planned for their afternoon annual Holiday Concert on Dec. 3; an event not to be missed.

PC Dems have continued their regular men’s breakfasts and women’s lunches throughout the summer. The men have met regularly at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse for breakfast and conversation on the second Wednesday of every month, and they will continue to do so into the fall. The women’s lunches are also popular. In June the venue was Red Lobster, in July Black Angus, in August High Tea was served at The Spicery, and the September gathering was held at BJ’s.

The club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. The meetings are always open and everyone is welcome. See www.pcdemclub.org for more information about the club.
