Kitty Datwyler: Kitty was born in Japan. She lost her parents and home by bombs during the war and was orphaned. She had an uncle who lived in the United States and he brought her to the U.S. where she attended Mary Mount Jr. College in Arlington, Virginia. She did not speak one word of English and it was overwhelming, so after 18 months she returned to Japan and got a job at the American Government Hospital. That is where she met her future husband who was in the CIA and came to the hospital. She says it was “love at first sight!” They were married in Japan and then moved to Dallas. She and her husband were married for over 50 years. He passed away in 2011. Kitty did modeling at Neiman Marcus and TV commercials. Her hobbies are designing and sewing. She has two boys and two grandchildren who live in Texas. Kitty says God gave her a wonderful place to live—called PebbleCreek.
Dave and Carol Wehrman have been residents of PebbleCreek for some time.
