As we move into the cooler months, the Art Club has many classes and workshops on the calendar. Our amazing class schedulers and coordinators, Shoray Wolfe and Erika Grande, have done an outstanding job for September and October.
A two-day class in charcoal and ink painting and a two-day class in colored pencil techniques with Anthony Galto, a color mixing class with Nancy Troupe, and a watercolor workshop in animal painting by Scottsdale artist Kim Johnson Nechtman are scheduled for September. October classes include:
* Dramatic Drawing on Paper—using white charcoal on black paper, and Fun with Multimedia with Anthony Galto
* Monet for a Day—pastels with Ellen Wagener
* Abstract and Intuitive Painting on Canvas with Stan Kurth
Most classes are available to nonmembers as well as Art Club members. Check our website at pcartgallery.com for details.
In addition to the many exciting classes being offered, there are open studio days and specialty group sessions available several days a week in the Coyote Room. Members can spend a relaxing few hours with others who are creating in a specific medium and share tips and ideas while working on projects.
Please visit our website at pcartgallery.com for class and workshop scheduling, and to view our online art gallery. The gallery has the works of many of our artists on display, and both the original work and giclees are available for purchase.
