As the Valley and Goodyear prepare for spring training, a few of our boys from PCSSA went to Lakeland, Florida to join the Detroit Tigers for their annual Spring Training Fantasy Camp. The men had an opportunity to interact with current and retired Tigers for a week. There were 150 campers, creating ten teams that played two games a day. Two of the guys had their sons attend also and that was a real special time for them. It was non-stop baseball with clinics and camaraderie between campers and major league players. Other MLB teams have similar camps, but the Detroit Tigers are known for having the best. Even though the guys played non-stop baseball, there was time for R&R, and our guys came out winners for just being at the camp.
