After what seemed an eternity for softball players, the Robson Field of Dreams reopened in April.

Practices took place two days a week (Monday and Wednesday.) Practice times were 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Each practice was limited to one hour, to allow the field and equipment to be properly prepared. The maximum number of participants was limited to ten for each practice session.

Pickup games were scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As with the practices, game start times were 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. A maximum number of twenty-two participants (eleven per team) were allowed for each scheduled game time.

To ensure that the bats and balls were kept clean, the PCSSA had their own specialized sanitizing unit, headed up by Chris Raptoplous, aka Rappy. This unit also had colorful blue vests made to distinguish themselves.

Our thanks to Rappy and his crew for keeping the equipment and field clean.
