The PebbleCreek Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association (PCM9GA) had an enjoyable April as they moved toward their summer season. The Men and Lady Niners held a “Guys and Dolls” joint golf outing. The men followed this up with their Spring Celebration Tournament.
The Guys and Dolls event was a 2 low net shamble, on Tuscany East, followed by a social mixer celebrating team play. The tournament included two flights on both the front and back nines. Winners of the front nine flight 1 included Louis Beaulieu, Patti Engelhardt, Randy Cheek, and Kathleen Heigh. The front nine flight 2 was won by Chris Mucha, Loretta Gunn, Gino Ranalli, and Maureen Richardson. Flight 1 on the back nine was won by Doug Anderson, Caryn Brett, Alan Hatfield, and Pat Jensen. Flight 2 on the back nine was won by Kerry Walsh, Charlotte Krause, Ray Dombrowski, and Peggy Taylor.
The Spring Celebration Tournament was a four-man scramble celebrating a great season and a chance to bid farewell to those departing for the summer. There were two flights, one each on the front and back nine of Tuscany West. Winners of the front nine flight were Kevin Braun, Tim Munson, Ken Whitney, and Chuck Busker. The back nine flight was won by Greg McGee, Doyle Blaylock, John Wagner, and Ken Laychak. The men followed up a great day of golf with a lot of fun and a big shout-out to the new board members. Trevor Ballinger (outgoing president) bid the snowbirds farewell, most of them going to second homes in the next week or two.
Upcoming highlighted events include a Summer Citizens Tournament and an Odd Even Tournament. Tee times will switch from afternoons to 7:30 a.m. for the summer. Come and enjoy golf with us on beautiful courses with pleasant morning temperatures.
