The PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) celebrates our champions each year during the major Tournament of Champions, when we strive to recognize the best of the best. The three-day event for 2022 was on March 21, 22, and 29 and played on all three PebbleCreek golf courses.
The winners for 2021-2022 are:
Overall Gross Champion—Andrea Dilger, who shot a 74, 73, and 80 in three respective rounds to win the $100 purse and the trophy
Overall Net Champion—Mary Pinski who shot a net 65, net 70, and net 80 in three respective rounds to win the $100 purse and the trophy
Overall Gross Runner Up—Brenda Cook with three rounds at 81, 79, and 80 to win the $75 purse
Overall Net Runner Up—Carolyn Suttles with three net rounds of 70, 73, and 73 to win the $75 purse
Champions were also named in six flights and received $55/player for 1st gross and net, and $42/player for 2nd gross and net:
Flight 1: Mary Harris, 1st gross; Laura Drummond, 2nd gross; Sarah Marsh, 1st net; Susan Slaughter and Ellen Enright, tie for 2nd net
Flight 2: Chanca Morrell, 1st gross; Kathy Enegren, 2nd gross; Teresa Christianson, 1st net; and Helen Wagner, 2nd net
Flight 3: Layne Sheridan, 1st gross; Sharma Fleming, 2nd gross; Jackie Christianson and Mary Falso, tie for 1st net
Flight 4: Julia Unkrich, 1st gross; Barb Economou, 2nd gross; Peggy Steffan, 1st net; and Sharon Johnson, 2nd net
Flight 5: Tricia Self, 1st gross; Chris Urbatchka, 2nd gross; Diana Wolf, 1st net; Lin Ochs and Deb Smedley, tie for 2nd net
Flight 6: Esther Frehner, 1st gross; Joanne Metivier, 2nd gross; Linda Sweet, 1st net; and Susan Harris, 2nd net.
During tournament play, Diana Wolf had an Eagle on hole number 7 at Eagle’s Nest, and Carol Dick shot under her age (we’re not saying…).
