The PebbleCreek Lady Niners donned their patriotic clothing and celebrated Labor Day with a special game that the golfers “relished.” In keeping with a holiday picnic theme, the golfers participated in the Hot Dog game, utilizing three different tee boxes: Mustard (yellow tees for par 5’s), Ketchup (red tees for par 4’s), and Mayonnaise (white tees for par 3’s). It was a fun way for members to experience playing from different tee boxes and provided an opportunity to experience familiar holes in a new way. Not to mention some seldom used clubs were brought out of the bag!
The board and volunteers are working hard on plans for the upcoming season. Tournament chairs are finalizing plans for the fall kick-off which is scheduled for Nov. 17. If you are interested in joining a group of lady golfers for fun and camaraderie, you can check out the PebbleCreek Ladies Nine-Hole Golf Association website at PCL9GA.org or contact our president Caryn Brett at presidentpcl9ga@gmail.com. Membership renewals/applications will begin again on Oct. 1. Looking forward to an exciting season!
