Is Your Garage Door Closed?

Don’t leave your home at risk, close those garage doors. Here are some interesting facts:

65% of all burglaries occur from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

July and August are when the most burglaries occur.

A high percent of all burglaries are through open garage doors.

Rule, Z/page 26 of the CCR’s Garage Openings: “No garage door shall be open except when necessary for access to and from the garage. This does not just apply to nighttime but all hours of the day.”

By leaving your garage all the way open, halfway open, or open a few inches, you allow critters, coyotes, rabbits, and crooks.

For your safety, our patrol will call you to make you aware that you have forgotten your garage door.

To avoid getting that dreaded 10 p.m. or 2 a.m. call, please keep your garage door closed.
