Cribbage Club

Want to beat the heat and stay cool for a couple of hours during the summer? Come and join the Cribbage Club. The Cribbage Club meets the first, second and fourth Thursdays of the month. We meet at 1:00 p.m. in the Sienna Room, Tuscany Falls. The Cribbage Club is open to all PebbleCreek residents interested in playing a friendly game of Cribbage. If you don’t know how to play, but are interested in learning, come join us for an afternoon of fun. If you have a Cribbage board and deck of cards, please bring them with you.

Mary Ann O’Brien

Time to tell all regarding Euchre scores!

Dennis Hanely and Sandy Blackburn were the big winners on March 16. They both had a score of 59. Close behind was Mary Ann O’Brien with 55 points. Rick Malette, Keith Charlesworth and Henry MacLeod scored 54. Carole Hanely had five Lone hands and Linda Vise claimed Low score with 33.

On March 23 Paul Messina and Jack Pope tied for first place with 61 points. Second place found Bob Ferro and Henry MacLeod in a 57 to 57 tie.

Dennis Hanely claimed third all by himself with 55 points. Bill Halte and Duane Koberg each had four Lone hands and Dick Koberg scored 28 for Low.

Barb Clark came in first on March 30 with 59 points and Bill Forshaw almost caught her with his score of 57. Serita was third with 56 and Marilyn, Dan Ester and Hank Yates each had 55 points.

Bill Todd had three Lone hands. Coming in last was Georgia Messina with 34 points.

April 6 found Duane Koberg in the lead with 67 points. Second place was Ron Glynn with 60 and Dennis Hanely scored 59. Chuck and Barb Clark tied with 57 and Loners was won by Hank Yates and Jim Hundt who each had three. Low was Jerry Fox with 28 points.

Bill Todd was the big winner on April 13, scoring 58 points. In second place was Jack Pope scoring 56 and we had a three-way tie for third with JoAnn Kolesar, Linda Vise and Jim Hundt. Lou Wulf was happy with five Loners and bid us farewell as he headed back to Canada. Rich Rugg went out the door before he could claim his big win for Low score—38.

All had a good time playing Euchre at the Palm Room at Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse. We play every Thursday night. We sign in at 6:30 and play begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.

$1 is all you need to join us, and of course some knowledge of the game.

Pinochle

Spring is here and it is time to get out and enjoy an evening of fun with your friends and neighbors. The Pinochle Club meets every Thursday night in the Tuscany Clubhouse. It is an evening of good fun, a little competition and if you play well you can even take home a couple of bucks. Those are not the ones with antlers, but the ones with the picture of George Washington on the front.
