The PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association (PCSSA) wrapped up their 26th season of play on April 3, and what a season it was with the coronavirus on everyone’s mind, rain outs, and the damage to the field caused by a microburst in January.
This season could have been a lost season if it wasn’t for the dedication, leadership, and perseverance of our league president, Dawn Hangen. She guided the league throughout all the interruptions experienced by all of those who play this game.
Spooner Physical Therapy, managed by Gary Jensen, won the league championship.
As we bid farewell to our fall/winter season, we look forward to the upcoming spring season where 99 plus players will once again lace up the spikes and get ready to play another 16 games. The spring season begins Tuesday, April 13 and concludes on Tuesday, June 1, just before the real heat sets in. Game days are Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Game times are 8 a.m., 9:10 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:40 p.m.
Even though it’s only May, the PCSSA is already in the planning stages for the 2021-22 fall/winter season. Registration dates for the fall/winter season are as follows:
