Nurses Group of PebbleCreek February Meeting

Kitty Shildt

Dee-Dee Patrick, MS, RN, President, Nurses Group of PebbleCreek

Kitty Shildt, registered dietitian and nutritionist, will be speaking to the Nurses Group of PebbleCreek on Feb. 15 in the Palm Room of Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse.

Kitty received her dietetics degree and her Master of Nutritional Science degree at Oklahoma State University. Her past work experience includes working with cancer patients from 1999 to 2004 at Cancer Care Associates of Tulsa. She also did nutrition education for the Senior Nutrition Program in Tulsa County, and private counseling in weight management and sports and fitness nutrition. She is well-known to the PebbleCreek community as having addressed the Breast Cancer Support Group on several occasions in the past.

If you are a nurse, currently in practice or retired, please feel free to attend our monthly meetings. This is an opportunity to meet with other members of your profession who all reside here in PebbleCreek. Attendees have found these gatherings to be both socially and intellectually stimulating.

Feel free to attend and bring a friend or neighbor who has a background in nursing. New volunteers for our Blood Pressure Clinic are needed. This service is valued by our PebbleCreek community and the rewards are plentiful—including community service and sharing your expertise with your neighbors.

If you have any questions about the club or this event, contact Dee-Dee Patrick at 708-494-0008 or [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
