December was a busy month for the PebbleCreek Men’s Nine-Hole Golf Association (PCM9GA). No December would be complete without the Annual Christmas Party. Two golf competitions—a Cha-Cha Tournament and a Holiday Tournament—rounded out the month.

The Dec. 8 Cha-Cha Tournament, held on Tuscany Falls West, featured four-man teams competing with a rotating low net score system (one low net score on one hole, two low net scores on the next hole, and three low net scores on the third hole, with the pattern repeating around nine holes). On the Front 9 Flight the foursome of Joe Duch, Steve Schwartz, Donald Burrows, and Bill Schroeder took top honors. On the Back 9 Flight the winning team was James Mitchell, Tom Johnson, John Vizzi, and Dick Atwater.

Individual scoring was the style of play for the Dec. 22 Holiday Tournament. A field of 97 golfers competed in four flights on Eagle’s Nest. Peter Herman, Steve Schwartz, and Don Neergaard won their flights on both a gross and net-score basis. John Mazzukelly (net score) and Bob Seibel (gross score) split the honors for Flight 1.

The annual Christmas Party was held on Dec. 11. Tasty appetizers, a fine dinner, and dancing to the music of Rhythm Edition rounded out the evening.
