News from PebbleCreek Shalom Club

Laurie Rosenbloom

On Saturday, January 16, thirty-five lucky players ventured out to the Wild Horse Pass Casino. The Shalom Club provided a bus and a lively game of Bingo was played during the ride. Each person was given $10 for free play. Everyone had a great time!

This month’s Movie Discussion Group was held on Friday, February 12. Steve Shaffer was the moderator facilitating the group in the lively discussion of the movie, The Big Short; an excellent film directed by Adam McKay depicting the U.S. mortgage-housing crisis of 2005. Movie Discussion Groups are held bi-monthly and are an enriching experience for all who participate!

And of course, our big event, An Evening in New Orleans, will take place on February 26 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. This gala affair will consist of music by Sound Design and a choice of three entrees. It will be a festive evening with line dancing kicking off the event!
