The PC Shalom Club spent a fun evening celebrating Chanukah via Zoom on Dec. 13. We lit our menorahs and played games. We also received a surprise treat from hosts Judy Friedman and Sy Rosenthal.

The January 2021 PC Shalom Club book discussion is set for Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m. The selection is The Storyteller’s Secret by Sejal Baldani. Carl Schatz will be leading the 10 a.m. Feb. 4 selection, Orhan’s Inheritance by Aline Ohanesian. Susan and Jim Gerson will be leading a discussion on A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles on March 2 at 10 a.m.

Steve Shaffer has graciously agreed to host a film via Zoom followed by discussion on Thursday, Jan. 21. The film will be the iconic 1969 Goodbye, Columbus, which was loosely based on the writings of Philip Roth. Time TBA.
