One of our members built a sukkah for the holiday Sukkot, and members had fun decorating the sukkah and enjoying a bite on this holiday that celebrates the fall harvest.
Also in October, we had a Happy Hour at Old Chicago Pizza. At our general meeting we did something different and held a DJ Bingo game, where songs are played and players have a short time to find them on their bingo card.
There will be a potluck dinner at the Oasis Pool on Nov. 9 to catch up with old friends and make new friends while enjoying a community meal. Everyone is looking forward to the Best of Phoenix Bus Tour on Nov. 13 where we will explore historic neighborhoods, check out murals around town, and discover other highlights of Phoenix.
