The Shalom Club has kept its members busy during the hot summer months. Mark Frumkin, our events coordinator, arranged a wonderful happy hour at Roman’s Oasis with an included line dance lesson. Everyone had a great time!

Master beader Anne Hesse hosted a beading class at her home that was both educational and enjoyable.

We continue to host monthly luncheons for both the men and ladies at various local restaurants. We had a full house at happy hours at Dillons BBQ and the Yard House.

Coming up will be bowling and miniature golf at Fat Cats in Surprise and a comedy event at Stir Crazy Comedy Club in Glendale. Future events include a journey through the Holocaust at the Jewish Heritage Center in September and a visit to the Museum of Illusion.

The Shalom Club is hosting high holiday services on Sept. 16 with an included Kiddush in the Chianti Room. Tickets are on sale now.

Please contact Barb Peskin for information on membership and upcoming events at 623-242-7955.
