The men of the Shalom Club enjoyed their monthly luncheon at Pita Jungle. It is a good opportunity for the men in our club to get together to catch up with each other and meet our new members. The women of the Shalom Club also have a similar luncheon in various local restaurants. Our happy hour was held at LongHorn Steakhouse, which was enjoyed by all members.
On Feb. 2 about 60 members enjoyed a wonderful celebration of the Chinese New Year at the Great Wall Restaurant in Phoenix. There was a delicious buffet of five main courses, appetizers, and dessert.
Coming up next month is our annual Sports Day where we can choose to play bocce, pickleball, or tennis, followed by schmoozing and lunch at Sunrise Park. This is always a fun-filled day of friendly competition and of course, eating, which is part of almost every Shalom Club activity.
There are lots of activities planned each month. All residents of PebbleCreek are welcome to join.
