Start your new year by attending the next Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) on Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. The group of over 140 Christian men meets the first Wednesday of each month, from October through April, with special guests talking on a variety of timely topics. The January speaker is Ben Joseph, missionary to students at Arizona Christian University.
Ben Joseph came to the United States from India in 1970 to attend Southwestern College, now Arizona Christian University. He is a graduate of both ASU and Denver Seminary. Ben and Aleyamma have been missionaries at Arizona State University, Tempe campus, since January 1984, reaching the international students at ASU.
Ben has a heart for the college students, a generation spiritually lost. Reaching the university students is critical since they represent the future leaders of the world, including the United States.
MCFPC program Director George Holzhauer recently visited with Ben Joseph on the importance of his work. “Ben has noted that the ages 18 to 27 are very critical for young adults, as values are tested and very often in the first two years of university life, students will walk away from their faith. Students tend to be defensive in their conversations about spiritual matters, and the way to have an impact on a student is to have a heart for him/her as a person,” said Holzhauer.
The Dec. 7 Fellowship meeting attracted the largest turnout since pre-COVID to hear Dr. Paul Benware, renowned teacher and author discuss end times and a better understanding of the Book of Revelations.
All men of PebbleCreek are welcome and invited to attend. The Tuscany Falls Chianti Room is located between the ballroom and the library. For more information, contact President Igor Shpudejko at [email protected] or 602-384-6496.
