On Sunday, Dec. 8, all 16 members of the Sunday Golf Group gathered at the home of John and Mary Barry to enjoy a potluck and a Christmas murder mystery after a day of golf. Everyone was dressed as a character.

Each person had a part in the play and were given clues as they mingled with others to decide who was murdered and who committed the murder. After questioning each other for more than an hour, it was discovered that the Gingerbread Man was murdered and only crumbs could be found in the stable. Prisser, the reindeer admitted she was the guilty party.

Everyone had a great time playing their character, and some got into it more than others, especially the Little Drummer Boy—he just could not quit beating on the drum. Also, the Polar Bear could not find any fish to eat. There was also a problem in the workshop as there were not enough toys to place in the bags. In addition, Dap the Elf (director of toy production) made all the elves work for 22 hours a day.

After all the fun, everyone brought a bottle of wine to exchange. Thank you to the Barry’s for another fun Christmas party!
