The next meeting of the Men’s Christian Fellowship of Pebble Creek (MCFPC) will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. The MCFPC is a group of over 130 Christian men who meet the first Wednesday of each month through April and features a wide range of interesting guest speakers with a solid Christian background and perspective. The featured speaker in October is Nathan Watkins, pastor of PebbleCreek Community Church.
Nate has been the pastor of PebbleCreek Community Church since July of 2023. He has served in the ministry for 30 years in various churches from Southern California to New York. He has a master’s degree in World Music from UCLA and a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. He loves using insights from that diverse education in designing Bible studies that are thought-provoking and inspiring. His wife of 35 years, Rocio, has her doctorate in Educational Leadership, and currently serves in the Saddle Mountain school district teaching special education. They have three sons, all of whom are active military. Nate is part of the softball club in PebbleCreek and serves on the Board as Director of Player Personnel. Both Nate and Rocio were part of ShowTime’s White Christmas production last year and look forward to more musical opportunities in PebbleCreek. They love PebbleCreek and hope to stay for many years!
In addition to monthly meetings, the MCFPC conducts weekly bible studies each Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. by Zoom and in person in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room annex.
