“Letting your Light Shine” will be the title of guest presenter Howard Atkinson’s talk at the next meeting of the Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) set for Wednesday, Nov. 6. The gathering is open to all men and will start at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room.

Howard and his wife Pat, formerly of Springfield MA, have been PebbleCreek residents since 2002. He is an active member of MCFPC and has served various finance roles for the PebbleCreek Homeowners Association. He is a certified public accountant and served banks in New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York. He volunteers at the New Life Center, a shelter from domestic violence for families, and is a board member of Orchard Alliance, a non-profit stewardship ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination.

In addition to sharing his personal testimony, Howard will share how men can have a practical impact with our families, friends, and neighbors by sharing our stories in word and deed.

At the group’s Oct. 2 meeting, Pastor Bob Ripley of PebbleCreek Community Church shared his personal testimony in exercising our spiritual gifts. “You need to make Christ your own. Every place we go, every person we meet, is an opportunity to share our faith,” said Pastor Ripley. “God will show up for you, if you look for him.”

The MCFPC is a group of 120 Christian men that convene a monthly program the first Wednesday of the month with a guest speaker on the Christian faith.
