Make plans to attend the next meeting of the Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) on Wednesday, March 2, at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. The MCFPC is a 120-member group of Christian men who meet the first Wednesday of every month (October to April) with a special guest speaking on a timely topic.
This month’s speaker will be David Pautsch, who will provide insight into the Lord’s power in the midst of challenges and opportunities in his talk entitled “God’s Overcoming Grace … Start to Finish.” His life story will include a divorce, working for Luis Palau directing crusades, a business startup, a business purchase, and his son being killed-in-action (KIA) in Iraq.
David Pautsch is the son of a pastor and has spent over 70% of his life in Iowa. He was a tuba player in the Continental Army Band at Fort Monroe, Va. (1973-1976) and graduated with a degree in marketing from Virginia Tech in 1980. He worked as a media director in an ad agency and then as a crusade director for Luis Palau in the 80s, before starting his own marketing consulting business in 1985. In 1990, he moved to Davenport, Iowa after purchasing The Ramsey Advertising Agency, which led to the founding of The Quad Cities Prayer Breakfast in 1995, a large, annual outreach to the Iowa/Illinois metro area.
David and his wife, Peggy, purchased a home in Estrella Mountain Ranch and live in Arizona seven months of the year.
The February special guest was Bill Koeckeritz, who has been actively involved in a secondary school in Tanzania for the past 20-plus years. A major accomplishment was bringing a safe and adequate drinking water supply to the Kikikati school. With Bill’s leadership, more than $1.2 million has been raised and sent to the school over the years, critical in giving kids a chance to attend school.
All men of PebbleCreek are welcome and invited to attend. The Tuscany Falls Chianti Room is located between the ballroom and the library. Coffee will be served. For more information, contact President Igor Shpudejko at [email protected] or 602-384-6496.
