There are two big dates to note this month. March 17 is St. Patrick’s Day, and the Gallery will have lots of green for you to choose from. And best of all, March 20 is the first day of spring! Welcome all the colorful new items on display for you to choose from.

I thought I’d welcome you to March with a brief review of my vested interest in the Gallery. While I try to cover every craft fairly and fully, my first passion is beading. I also belong to Knimble Kneedles, a charitable club of knitters and crocheters. I invite you to find your craft passion and join the fun in the Creative Arts Center. There are many clubs for you to choose from, hone your skill, and share your beautiful creations in the Gallery.

Stop in at the Gallery desk to learn about clubs, classes, and becoming a consignor. I use the term consignor to let you know up front that a percentage of each sale is retained to offset various expenses throughout the community.

Among the items sold in the Gallery by the talented men and women of the Creek are wall art; quilted décor; jewelry; ceramics and pottery; sewn items, including doll clothes and purses; glass work; books for all ages; knit and crochet items for babies through seniors; gourd designs; and wood carvings.

Be sure to spring on in and visit the Gallery this month!
