PCSSA Marketing Director Al Chandler

Al Chandler and his wife Jonnie were originally from Indiana but moved to PebbleCreek from Savannah, Georgia, where Al retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after a 22 year career in the U.S. Army. Al and Jonnie have been married over 46 years. Their son, Captain Jeremy Chandler, U.S. Army Special Forces, was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 11, 2005. Their daughter Alecia is married to a U.S. Naval officer. Matt and Alecia, who now live in Colorado, “have given us two of the most precious grandkids ever.”
As Director of Marketing, Al solicits corporate funding sponsors for the PCSSA teams and provide banners that are proudly displayed on the outfield fence at the Field of Dreams here in PebbleCreek. This is a most important part of the revenue generated by the league. A special thanks to Fast Signs who gives discounted rates for the banners. “A major part of sustaining the PCSSA and PebbleCreek’s Field of Dreams is the financial support of our local companies,” said Al. “The PCSSA is grateful to them and recommends that all Creekers give these loyal businesses strong consideration when shopping for services or purchases.” Al also works with league events committees to involve sponsors in all league social events throughout the season.
