About 18 members of Le Circle Français met this fall at the Vogue Bistro in Surprise for “dejeuner,” or lunch. The Vogue Bistro is one of the club’s favorite venues for gathering to practice their French conversation and to taste amazing French food. Chef Aurore de Beauday prepared extra special dishes for the group—including pâté and escargot. The group is contemplating taking one of her cooking classes later in the year—all done in French, of course!
Besides the Vogue Bistro, club members meet twice a month in different homes and at the PebbleCreek clubhouses. Meetings run approximately two to three hours and members possess different levels of French—but the one goal for all is to improve our French conversation!
