Spring for Le Cercle Français means celebrating La Fête de la Polynésie Française around the beautiful pool of Deborah and Gaylen Legan in PebbleCreek. The Legans, who love Tahiti, have provided this venue for the club for about three years and it is always a fun get-together. It is one of several yearly club events that allow the non-French speaking spouses of members to attend as well. It just so happened that this year was also St. Patrick’s Day, so members and guests were decked out in both green and island themed dress to cover all bases!

Drinks from the Tacky Tiki Bar, manned by gracious owner Gaylen Legan, kept everyone cool as temperatures that day got up into the 90s. With the swaying palms and sound of the waterfall outside, French conversation and a bit of Irish luck, the group had a good time being transported to Tahiti for the afternoon. For information on the French conversation club, please contact Deborah Legan at [email protected].
