Summer and the heat are now fully in place at PebbleCreek. You can cool off, if you like, in the Kare Bears House, and find all of these great resources:
* CPR/AED class on July 14 (Tuesday) 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Palm Room; registration will be on the Kare Bears website, under Events.
* Visit the library of resources for caregiving of loved ones or grief support (Information is on the Kare Bears website under Caregiving Resources). There is also a downloadable PDF document that you can save and/or print for future reference. But, always return to the Kare Bears website as the true source, for the latest version, as it is updated when we know new information.
* Check out medical equipment (check out the Kare Bears website, under Medical Equipment Loan).
* Schedule a Ride to a Non-Emergency Doctor’s Appointment (check out the Kare Bears website, under Medical Equipment).
* Play Share Bears Bingo, which happens every Friday at 11 a.m.
* Attend Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregivers Support group on July 18, Tuscany Falls—Sienna Room. More information on the Kare Bears website, under Events. No need to register, just show up.
Kare Bears will be open, with reduced hours, over the summer (Mondays through Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon). You can get more information on all of the above via any of the following methods:

Did you know that Kare Bears is operated by an all-volunteer team of dedicated people? Why, yes, it is. We are all PebbleCreek residents who have a passion for helping our fellow neighbors, with the skills we bring to the team! If you might be interested in volunteering for Kare Bears, or want to learn more about our dedicated volunteers, please go to the Kare Bears website, under Volunteering.
