The PebbleCreek Kare Bears organization, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, received Congressional recognition from Representative Debbie Lesko’s office for its contributions to the PebbleCreek and surrounding communities.

Gisele Norberg from Debbie Lesko’s Surprise office presented the citation to members of the Kare Bears organization and its founder, Rayma Scalzo, Dec. 8 at the Kare Bears House.

Included in the celebration were Kare Bears Founder Rayma Scalzo, President Tom Meek, 1st VP Don Belonax, 2nd VP Maureen Plate, Treasurer Nancy Dodds, and office volunteer Debbie Stoner.

The founder and Kare Bears board accepted the citation on behalf of Kare Bears and thanked those who have made the organization flourish.

Kare Bears has continued helping the PebbleCreek community during the COVID pandemic. Office volunteers answered calls for service, and drivers continued taking residents to their non-emergency appointments.
