The Pebble Creek Art Club is going wild with the annual Fall Art Show and Sale, which will take place on Friday, Nov. 12, in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom from 3 to 7 p.m. This year’s entry field will showcase over 100 works in oil, pastel, watercolor, drawing, colored pencil, 3D art, mixed media, and acrylic. The works will be judged by a panel of three highly qualified artists from around the Valley, and awards will be given for winners in the categories.
Complimentary tickets are available at pcartclubshows.org/booking. Each ticket includes a glass of wine and entry into a drawing for one of three works by our pioneer artists, who are founding members of the club.
This year’s challenge theme is Wild Thing—You Make My Heart Sing. Artists are free to interpret the theme as they choose. Expect lions and tigers and bears, as well as flowers and children and clouds. The challenge invites the imagination to run free, and there will undoubtedly be surprises and delights in this category.
The ever-popular gift baskets will also be back this year. Tickets to enter the drawings for themed baskets and accompanying framed original artwork are available online at the ticket booking site and will also be available in the ballroom on the night of the show. Photographs of the baskets and artwork can be found on the booking website. Basket themes include Out of Africa, Where’s the Beef, Gone to the Dogs, Beach Party Picnic, and A Not So Dry Desert. Music will be provided by Happy Hour, one of PebbleCreek’s premier musical groups. Join us in walking on the wild side on Friday, Nov. 12, as we celebrate our artists and their work.
The Art Club calendars for 2022 will be on sale at the show and will feature photographs of all the pieces featured at the show. These unique, 12-month calendars would make wonderful holiday gifts and are a bargain at $10. There will be eight different versions to accommodate all 110 entries, so choose the calendar that has the art you found most appealing.
The PebbleCreek Art Club is delighted to provide an in-person event this year. Masks are optional, but we ask that you maintain appropriate social distancing when possible. Guidelines will be reviewed up to the time of the show.
