PebbleCreek Billiard Club members have completed the early spring season (Series XI) of their extended 8-Ball Pocket Billiards Tournament. The round-robin tourney consists of eight mini tournament events played over eight consecutive weeks.
Winner of Series XI was Jim Padgitt, who earned 63 points in 54 games by capturing three first-place finishes in weekly mini-tournament events. One point is awarded for each game won, plus a three-point bonus for each weekly mini-tournament victory.
For his Grand Championship effort, Jim received a gift certificate redeemable at a popular local restaurant to share with his wife, Sandy.
Series XI runner-up was Chuck Johnson who recorded 57 points in 54 wins, while third-place finisher Jim Sykes tallied 50 points in 44 games. Other tournament contestants included Harold Erker, Marv Schrock, Gary Weaver, Mike Finnegan, and Clay Beeson.
