At the PC Italian-American Club (PCIAC) Feb. 9 general membership meeting, members were fortunate to be entertained by one of our own PebbleCreek residents, mentalist extraordinaire Bruce Kundin. Bruce, who moved to PebbleCreek in July 2021, is a semi-professional magician who performs adult magic and mentalism. Most of us are familiar with the talents and skills of magicians, but not everyone is familiar with mentalism. Mentalists like Bruce are performing artists who “appear to” demonstrate highly developed mental and intuitive feats such as telepathy and mind-reading.
Bruce dazzled us by performing a variety of astonishing feats using cards, dollar bills, and unsuspecting audience members who ensured that Bruce was not hiding anything “up his sleeve.” Over and over, Bruce used only his telepathic powers to amaze us with flawless predictions. Approximately 60 PCIAC members enjoyed Bruce’s show, and not one audience member was able to determine how he performed his amazing feats.
Bruce is a member of several magic and mentalist professional societies, and has performed at venues such as Hat and Hare Pub, Cellar Theater of the Hollywood Magic Castle, and The House of Magic Foundation for the Arts in Santa Paula, Calif. Bruce has also entertained at many private events both inside and outside of PebbleCreek. The PCIAC thanks you, Bruce, for an entertaining and fun evening!
