InSync Tennis Team plays at the 3.5 level in the West Valley Women’s Tennis League. The team has enjoyed six years of weekly practices and Friday league matches. More than that, though, we have enjoyed our friendships with each other. We have supported each other through the loss of a spouse and a husband with cancer.
This year, we had two of our members celebrate turning 60 within weeks of each other. After our last match of the season, we had a surprise birthday party. We enjoyed homemade birthday cake and champagne. Hopefully, this took the sting out of entering a new decade in life!
