The ShowTime Hall of Fame award was presented to three of the club’s most dedicated members at the December holiday party. Bob Sherman, Karyn Horst and Patti Wegehaupt were awarded the honors for their outstanding contributions to ShowTime over the past 15 years and each of them has worked in many different production areas.

Bob Sherman and his late wife, Nancy, became active in the club shortly after moving to PebbleCreek in 1999. Bob videotaped many of the productions and then went on to sing and act in shows such as Grease, Anything Goes and White Christmas. He also used his engineering skills to construct some amazing props including the full-size television studio cameras used in Celebrating Ed Sullivan and A Night at the Renaissance.

Karyn Horst is best known as PebbleCreek’s resident choreographer who has groomed Dance Fusion into a performing group that could rival many professionals. But Karyn has also used her extensive creative talents in directing some of ShowTime’s best musical productions, including Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes and The Drowsy Chaperone. In April 2017 Karyn will again direct and this time it will be the hilarious comedy Spamalot.

Patti Wegehaupt, also known as “Patty Everywhere,” has done almost every job in ShowTime including director, assistant director, producer, props, acting, singing and dancing. Patti works on the contracts with the play publishers, arranges all of the dressing rooms for the actors and dancers, helps organize cast parties and has even worked on the back stage crew when needed.

The ShowTime Hall of Fame award was established in 2014 to honor those members who have given their time and talents over the past 18 years to make ShowTime into a thriving organization that provides top-notch entertainment for all of PebbleCreek.
