The women of the PebbleCreek Democratic Club gathered May 1 for a luncheon in the Chianti Room wearing some striking headwear and outfits in celebration of the Kentucky Derby. Thirty six women attended the event.
The ensembles were judged for the Most Creative, Most Elegant, and Best Fascinator. Pat Chernow won the Most Creative, Carolyn Suttles won the Most Elegant, and Rose Mary Mansell won Best Fascinator.
The room was filled with wide brims, silk flowers, ribbons, bows, laughter, and smiles. The competition was fierce-but-friendly and a fun time was had by the attendees.
