Howard Eugene “Gene” Mahler of Redford, MI and Irmgard “Irmie” Zeitz of Schweinfurt, Germany were married on June 3, 1960, in Redford. Gene proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Army in the infantry and military police, including two tours in Vietnam. Gene and Irmie have been part of PebbleCreek since 1997 and are involved in numerous clubs and associations within the community. Together they have traveled the globe extensively including spending 20 years RVing across the U.S. and Canada.
They have three children, Buck, Katherine, and Karl, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Austin.
