Goodyear Mayor Georgia Lord will be launching the sixth annual USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) Sanctioned Tournament by delivering a welcome address to all the participants from the USA and Canada. The countries’ national anthems will be sung, and The Greatest Show on Courts will get underway.
Feb. 9 (Wednesday) is Women’s Doubles. Feb. 10 (Thursday) is Mixed Doubles, and Feb. 11 (Friday) is Men’s Doubles. Skill levels are 3.0-5.0 and age groups are 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70-plus.
This isn’t just a major pickleball doubles tournament; this is a stupendous, three-day happening. This tournament is home to the largest single-venue pickleball club in the world and is one of the most popular USAPA-sanctioned tournaments there is. The tournament atmosphere is incredible.
You can start your mornings off at the famous Sweet Spot, which will offer free homemade sweets by Creekers and free freshly brewed coffee. Vendors will be offering the latest in women’s and men’s sports apparel, jewelry, paddles, healthcare treatments, and pickleball mementoes.
A food truck will be selling a variety of food offerings, along with an assortment of drinks, all at reasonable prices.
There is no admission or parking fee, but parking will be extremely tight. So please, walk, ride a bike, or use a golf cart to minimize traffic congestion.
Our 20 dedicated court facility is located on the Tuscany side of PebbleCreek. More than 200 PebbleCreek Pickleball Club volunteers will help you have an outstanding experience.
