There are many great reasons for golfers to improve their putting. For starters, a putt of six feet counts the same to your score as your long drive off the tee. And if you haven’t hit all the best drives, when you arrive on the green your putting skills give you the opportunity to make up the shots — and score big!

The PebbleCreek Putters Club gives all players a time to improve their putting strokes, learn to read the green and how to position yourself for your shot. All this while meeting other golfers and making new friends.

“Putting is a major part of the golf game,” says PebbleCreek Putters Club President Bettyann Baumgartner, “so if this is one of your problems on the golf course, why not become a member of the PC Putters Club and sharpen up this skill. I am sure we have all heard the saying ‘Drive for show and Putt for dough.’ This is your chance to start putting for dough.”

During the season, Tuscany Falls Golf Pro Dave Vader will regularly share tips and insights at the start of a putting session. Veteran members communicate their experience with new members and everyone encourages and motivates all players to improve. Membership is a happy mix of veteran players, golfers who have been playing a few years and those new to the game.

The PC Putters Club putts weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays all year long. Membership forms are in the alcove at the Tuscany Falls Pro Shop or please contact the Club’s Membership Chairperson Carol Hahn at [email protected].
