General Manager’s Message

Bill Barnard

With higher than usual temperatures, it seems that spring has skipped us and we have gone straight to summer. It has been a hot one this year. Spring is a very busy time of the year with most of our residents in town and a large number of residents and guests visiting. It is also when we have a lot of activities and events going on that keeps our Community Services Department very active looking after our community. The service provided by these people is one of the many benefits of living in PebbleCreek.

Our Community Services Department plays a vital role in maintaining the overall quality of life here in PebbleCreek. Led by Director Mike Vickers, a retired law enforcement officer, this dedicated team of approximately 40 men and women provides around-the-clock support to our community. Community Services staff are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekpatrolling our neighborhoods and staffing our front gates to ensure consistent coverage and a visible presence. Their work goes far beyond observation. They regularly assist residents with services such as jump-starting vehicles, conducting vacation watches, securing community buildings after hours, towing disabled golf carts, and notifying homeowners of issues like water leaks or open garage doors.

In addition, the team serves as the enforcement arm of our HOA rules. They issue notices of violation for observed concerns such as speeding, improper parking, failure to stop at posted signs, and other areas of non-compliance. Their efforts help maintain the standards that make our community a desirable place to live. It is important to note that Community Services personnel are not law enforcement officers, nor are they a private security force. They are members of the community who are committed to serving their neighbors. For criminal matters or emergencies, the Goodyear Police Department provides official law enforcement response and support.

The strength of this team lies not only in the services they provide, but also in their presence. Their consistent visibility throughout PebbleCreek serves as a deterrent and contributes significantly to making our community one of the safest in the West Valley. We appreciate the professionalism and commitment shown by our Community Services team each and every day. Please keep the Patrol’s 24-hour number accessible at home and on your cell phones as you never know when you may need assistance. The phone number is 623-935-0387. Our Community Services team is a vital part of what makes this community feel like home.
