Spring is in full swing and the great weather brings many activities and visitors to the Valley and our community. We are also welcoming many new community members along with many renters and guests. This month, I would like to focus my message on the Community Services Team, which consists of individuals who patrol the neighborhood, staff the main gates, and provide services. These folks are one of the many benefits of living in PebbleCreek.
John Singleton, retired Goodyear Police Lieutenant, is our Director of Community Services and leads a team of about 40 men and women; most are residents just like you. They are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, monitoring our community, property, residents, and guests.
The Community Services Patrol provides many services such as vacation watch while residents are away, towing disabled golf carts, providing jump starts for vehicles, alerting homeowners about water leaks or open garage doors, installing RFID tags for your vehicles, among many other things. The Patrol team also acts as agents of the HOA to enforce PebbleCreek rules by notifying residents via Notice of Violation for non-compliance to our rules, to include speeding, parking, and stop sign violations. Day and night, the team patrols throughout the community, not only carrying out their duties but providing a presence that is known to discourage and deter unwanted activity. Please note, however, they are not police officers or law enforcement agents but are here to provide assistance and community service. The City of Goodyear Police Department and other law enforcement agencies handle criminal law violations that could occur within PebbleCreek.
Another feature of the 24-hour service is the manned gates at our main entrances at PebbleCreek Parkway and Clubhouse Drive. Our Guest Relations team oversees these entry points to greet visitors, homeowners, vendors, and contractors entering the community. You can call to notify them that you have a guest or vendor arriving or use the online Gate Access system that allows you to enter information and pertinent data. Visit the HOA website and look for Gate Access on the Quick Links menu. You will need to contact the Patrol Office 24-hour number at 623-935-0387 for assistance in getting set up.
Please keep the Patrol’s 24-hour number accessible at home and on your cell phones as you never know when you may need assistance. Our Community Services team here at PebbleCreek is one of the benefits that makes our community stand out. Please take advantage of all of the services provided. We appreciate all of our Community Services staff members, so the next time you pass through the gate or see a patrol vehicle roll by, give a wave and a word of thanks. Our Community Services team is a vital part of what makes this community feel like home.
