General Manager’s Message

Bill Barnard, General Manager

We are starting to see some great weather here in the Valley. The weather is what brings so many people here to Arizona, and PebbleCreek becomes an incredibly busy place this time of year. We have come a long way since last March but still have COVID concerns lingering. The good news is that most of our activities are back in swing, and I would like to take a moment to remind you about how much there is to do in our community.

I have mentioned this before, but if you are bored in PebbleCreek, you haven’t gotten out of the house. The amenities here in PebbleCreek are tremendous; we have beautiful clubhouses, fitness centers, pools, libraries, restaurants, golf courses, the Creative Arts Center, the Renaissance Theater, pickleball, tennis, bocce, softball, billiards, and a basketball court. We have more than 100 active clubs in PebbleCreek, from card playing, art, wine, hiking, sports, etc. There seems to be a club for everyone. Two clubs that all PebbleCreek residents belong to are the Kare Bears and LifeLong Learning. Both are incredible organizations run completely by volunteers, and they are always looking for more help. Visit the club pages on the HOA website at pebblecreekhoa.org to learn more.

Visit our Creative Arts Center if you are interested in painting, sculpting, quilting, working with glass, wood, pottery, ceramics, scrapbooking, or jewelry making. These are just some of the activities offered. Be sure to remember the Expressions Gallery and Gift Shop for great gift ideas to buy for yourself or others. Visit our theater for the many shows offered, and if you are interested in music, song, dance, acting, or performing, consider joining one of our performing arts groups. Visit our fitness centers and studios if you are looking to improve your fitness level. We offer cardio and weight equipment, along with yoga, dance, strength, spin, and other classes. Join any of our sports clubs, such as pickleball, tennis, softball, or bocce, if you want to be active outdoors. Finally, visit any of our three golf courses here at PebbleCreek that are all in fantastic condition. There are golf associations for 18-holers or nine-holers, both men and women, and the Putters Club if you are looking to be more active on the golf courses.

There are so many activities here at PebbleCreek that I know I am failing to mention. Don’t forget the service clubs, civic and public interest clubs, the Pet Companions Club, computer clubs, and the list goes on and on. Again, please visit the HOA website at pebblecreekhoa.org for information on clubs and activities in PebbleCreek. I truly believe that keeping our minds and bodies active plays a huge role in what keeps us young.

I hope you will think about all that we have to offer here at PebbleCreek and maybe take on something new. While we still haven’t completely made our way out of the pandemic yet, and we do recommend that you follow CDC and state health organization guidelines to keep you healthy, we also hope you are getting out and enjoying life. Keep doing what you feel comfortable doing and live your best life here at PebbleCreek!
