Duplicate Bridge Club Star Players

Enid Bross and Kathy Bergman are star bridge players at our club! For 2025 they were both awarded ACBL Mini McKenney and Ace of Clubs recognition at their specific levels (based on masterpoints) in Unit 354the greater Phoenix area of approximately 1,500 members.

For Mini McKenney, Kathy ranked No. 1 at her level, earning 210 points at clubs and tournaments.

For Ace of Clubs, Kathy ranked No. 3 at her level with 145 points earned at clubs.

For Mini McKenney, Enid ranked No. 8, earning 149 points at clubs and tournaments.

For Ace of Clubs, Enid ranked No. 5, earning 139 points at clubs.

Kathy and Enid have played together for over 10 years at the club level and at regional and national tournaments.

Enid’s many awards include Life Master (300 points), Bronze Life Master (500), Silver Life Master (1000), Ruby Life Master (1500), and Gold Life Master (2500). She has played off and on since she was 14 years old, and began playing duplicate bridge in 2002.

Kathy took bridge lessons at PebbleCreek in 2006 and began playing competitively in 2007. Her awards include Life Master, Bronze Life Master, Silver Life Master, Ruby Life Master, Gold Life Master, and Sapphire Life Master (3500 points). Her goal is to reach Diamond Life Master by earning 5000 points.
