The PebbleCreek Senior Softball Association is spooling up a great 2016 season. The League Board of Directors hosted 12 team managers and their assistants to an afternoon of intense strategy and second-guessing as they go through the rounds selecting players for their team.

League signups finished on August 31 and the individual evaluations were scheduled for new players during the week of September 7. Ten to twelve evaluations were conducted on each of the three grueling mornings where League Balancing Committee members put the new players through their paces at bat, fielding and running the bases.

Now with the draft complete, all teams will begin practicing and honing team skills. Managers will begin organizing players by position and batting lineup. The Board of Directors will solidify game schedules for fall and winter games, set out rule changes for this year, contract out field repairs, gussy up the bleachers and prepare for league play.

Opening Day will be Saturday, October 24 at the PebbleCreek Field of Dreams; Tuscany main entry and follow the signs to the field. Team rosters, game schedules and other league events will be posted on our website (www.quickscores.com/pcssa). See you on Opening Day!
