Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration January 18, 2016

The celebration is rapidly approaching. Festivities begin Monday, January 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Just Folks Association, together with Life Long Learning, present its sixth annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Program. It will be in the Renaissance Theatre at Tuscany Falls. The keynote speaker is Reverend Bruce Jackson from St John’s Episcopal Church in Union Hills. He will present an inspirational message, “Take up the Battle.” Civic and religious leaders, a choir and praise dancers all will take part in the celebration. Students from Millennium High School and Brophy High will be there to keep Dr. King’s dream alive and make remarks on what his dream means to them.
