On Wednesday, March 5, the PebbleCreek Democratic Club sponsored an Election Forum for the candidates running for the Goodyear City Council. This forum was open to all PebbleCreek residents, regardless of party affiliation, and provided an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their views on the important issues facing the city. In addition to the three incumbents, Sheri Lauritano, Joanne Osborne and Bill Stipp, were the two challengers Ray Hadden and Robert Garcia.

Each candidate was asked to introduce themselves and make a brief opening statement. This was followed by a series of prepared questions from the moderator, Club President Bart Alford and concluded with questions from the audience.

The event was held at the Tuscany Chianti Room and was well attended. Both the candidates and the community appreciated the Forum and found it to be beneficial and informative. Upcoming PebbleCreek Democratic Club events are the showing of the video Heist in the Tuscany Renaissance Theatre, Friday, April 10, at 7:00 p.m. and the annual picnic on Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom.
