A very special event was held on May 7 at The Spicery in Glendale. This beautifully decorated 1895 historic house provided a charming and cozy atmosphere for a Women’s Tea Party sponsored by the PebbleCreek Community Church fellowship committee.
The 25 attendees dressed in their favorite tea party attire, fun hats, bonnets, and fascinators. They shared a delightful afternoon participating in a traditional English High Tea with a Royal Tea menu featuring an array of delicious treats, including soup, salad, finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and jams, assorted pastries, desserts, and flavored teas served on elegant china. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, reflecting the care and attention that went into a wonderful experience. Each attendee had a delightful afternoon with lasting memories of good food, conversation, laughter, shared stories, and mementos celebrating the bonds of friendship and fellowship. Fun was at the top of the agenda and the group hopes to have another Tea Party next year.
