Do you ever wonder why so many PebbleCreek residents have Corvettes in their garages? For many it is retirement time and an opportunity to purchase the car of their dreams, while others have always been Corvette owners. They all enjoy the roar of the revved up engine and the sporty look that goes with the joy of being behind the wheel.
Ted Jensen, a PebbleCreek resident, and Ron Miller who lives in the local area, decided it would be great fun to gather Corvette owners together for a Rally. The idea mushroomed and the two fellows placed invites on Vet windshields suggesting if they were interested to meet at the Eagle’s Nest parking lot April 16 for a Corvette Rally traveling out to Yarnell.
It was clearly a great idea as 30 shiny Corvettes roared up to the parking lot with spouses and companions all ready to head out for some fun. Imagine the thrill of the ride following along in a procession of Corvettes! Upon arrival, Yarnell’s Family Diner was ready for the crowd and they were served promptly while having a chance to visit and form upcoming plans.
On May 14, Jensen and Miller organized a PebbleCreek Sunset Drive where Corvette owners met at Eagle’s Nest parking lot in the evening and cruised our streets right here and then parked those beauties while the drivers and passengers enjoyed beverages, appetizers and more planning.
